Jarrod Houseknecht

Incoming Associate/Law Clerk – Bar Admission Pending November 2025

Jarrod is a dedicated member of Schorr Law’s real estate litigation team in Los Angeles. He earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where he distinguished himself as a member of the Trial Team, receiving multiple Best Advocate awards and advancing as a finalist in national trial competitions. While at Pepperdine, he also participated in the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and the Law, earned a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute, and served as president of OUTLaw. Additionally, Jarrod expanded his legal perspective by studying European and International Economic Law at the University of Augsburg in Germany.

Before joining Schorr Law, Jarrod gained practical experience in an in-house legal setting, supporting daily legal operations and client matters. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Miami. With his advocacy skills, international training, and strong academic foundation, Jarrod is a valuable part of the firm. Outside of his professional life, Jarrod enjoys live music and concerts, hiking, reading, and traveling.
